“Homeotherapeutics, A Handbook of
Homeopathic Medicine.”

Dear Readers,

This book is written to dispel some of the myths surrounding Homeopathic therapy, remedies and philosophy. In the 250 years since Hahnemann’s potentization procedure in making the homeopathic remedies, Homeopathy has been veiled in metaphysical notions. This has detracted from Homeopathy’s popularity in that many individuals have grave reservations in trusting their health to what they believe is quackery or charlatanism. Thus in this manner Homeopathy in not being able to substantiate itself through research has done itself great harm. In this book I hope to dispel some of these metaphysical notions and provide the reader with some experimental research and data that will explain in scientific terms how the homeopathic remedy works, at what level and how the information is still maintained in a dilution that surpasses Avogadro’s number. This information or research was possible only with the advent of new physics, systems theory, chaos and complexity theories that have arisen within the last twenty years. Also because of this mystical, metaphysical viewpoint  surrounding Homeopathic philosophy and treatment it has not been taken seriously by the academic and medical communities. and thus many of the things that could in turn change what is going on in conventional medicine at the moment is remaining untapped. With this book I hope to answer some old questions and to raise new ones concerning the way we view pathology in the organism.

Have you wondered why the medical establishment has doubts as to the validity of Homeopathic therapy? The reason for these doubts is based upon the fact that homeopaths have not been able to explain certain major tenets of Homeopathic philosophy, theory and practice. The following questions posed by the scientific community to homeopaths that have not been answered and pose insurmountable obstacles in the acceptance of Homeopathic theory are listed below:

1. How does the Homeopathic substance, when 
diluted in distilled water and ethanol or in distilled 
water, convey the information to the water and 
ethanol molecules? 
2. Why and how does the Homeopathic dilution still 
maintain its “information” even after the
potentization process has surpassed the dilution 
point of Avogadro’s number? [Avogadro’s number named after the scientist who
proposed the principle on which it is based, is a 
mole or the quantity of a substance which contains
6.02 x 10-23 items. Since a homeopathic dilution 
during the potentization process is diluted beyond
Avogadro’s number the premise is that there is no
primary plant, mineral or organic substance left in
the dilution and thus the homeopathic remedy is a
placebo after this dilution.] 3. How does the Homeopathic remedy affect the 
organism and at what level? How does it act 
therapeutically and via what methods to bring 
about the desired therapeutic result? 
 

This book answers the above questions using conventional scientific theories from experimental data and proposes a model of the organism and its pathology that is conducive to both conventional and homeopathic medicine. 
  
The conventional medical community is faced with having to solve the problems of:

1. the adverse side effects of drugs 
2. understanding and handling chronic diseases and
3. a model of the organism and its pathology that  does not take into account acquired predisposition, emotions and our biofeedback interactions within our organism and the environment.

This book will serve as a valuable tool for the homeopath and  his/her patients, providing both with an understanding of how the homeopathic remedy works in the body and what happens to the remedy during the potentization process.
Written in simple language it will try to answer many of the questions posed by medical doctors, scientists and researchers as to the nature of the homeopathic remedy and how it pomotes a therapeutic effect 
without reverting to metaphysics but using conventional scientific theories. These answers will be backed by experimental. The book also contains a historical overview citing the mjor turn of events in
the history of Homeopathic though and how these turn of events have led up to the present situation.
